Our mission
Our goal as a Japanese Cultural Academy is to help as many people as possible gain an appreciation for the Japanese language, as well as a deeper understanding of Japan’s culture and traditions.
We hope introducing the true essence of Japan—something we are very proud of—which is both richly steeped in mystery and heritage, while also being highly modern and urban.

Meet the Team
All Native Japanese Instructors

Founder/Educator/Instructor
Lou Imai
I am originally from Tokyo. I obtained teaching licenses for both junior high and high school in Japan, where I discovered the appeal of education and the joy of teaching.
Currently, in addition to teaching Japanese, I also provide kimono dressing and traditional dance classes. Drawing on my extensive knowledge of Japanese culture, I strive to create engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable for everyone!

Head Instructor
Chizuru Kabe
Japanese culture is incredibly rich and has gained popularity around the world in recent years. More and more people are becoming interested in both the language and the traditions behind it.
While Japanese can be a challenging language to learn, I truly enjoy helping students discover its beautiful sounds and expressive depth.
Let’s learn and explore together!
